Matthew 17:14-18

In order to understand my recent messages you can see my FB wall: Darien Masters

“And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”

“Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.”

Matthew 17:14-18

Jesus here challenges believers who fail to influence others with the power of His kingdom. Certainly I’ve influenced people alright. We see where that always gets me far too often.

My prayers were a difference maker until suddenly it seemed to just stop. Something was broken in the home, and no matter how much more I tried and how hard I prayed I could not get rid of the devil’s hold over the home. At one point I know I was about to impact things to turn around, and the devil gave himself a very strong foothold by bringing that one I call a vampire into the house. Then at another point I got a child, Grace back on board with Bible reading and prayer, and as I said once before, I felt a shift in the foundation. I felt it crack. The devil was angered, and so here I am banished from my own life that was a gift from God because somewhere, somehow I failed …

A lunatic is a person afflicted with epileptic or other disorders, which are always known to have a singular increase at the change and full of the moon. This explains werewolves I suppose.

But this lunacy was occasioned by a demon.

Matthew 17:18
Mark 9:17
Luke 9:38.

In this case, the devil intended to hide himself under the appearance of a natural disorder, that no supernatural means might be resorted to for his expulsion.

Luke 9:39.

The devil has similarly disguised himself as this vampire who has “related” to the mother of these children, stole my life and has put up this facade to keep a darkness in the home. It angered him that I helped Grace to see thru it. She could see her mother was acting wrong and making her lie to me. Now I am very scared to know if Grace has become infected or if God has kept her anchored to continue praying for me to return …

I also know the minds of that family are afflicted by some disorders. And the devil has harped on that greatly in the mind of their mother. Many of us are afflicted by something. Some just hide or keep it in check better.

This man in the scripture had brought his son to the disciples, not to the apostles. They had power over unclean spirits (Matthew 10:8) but he took the boy to others of God’s followers who attempted to work miracles. It is probable that many of His disciples attempted this who were not personal attendants on The Lord’s ministry (Mark 9:38)

I myself have sought greater power, influence and confidence in Jesus’ Holy Ghost works. I seemed to have had a grip on some at one time. I’d do anything to have it back and to lead this family with it once again …

“Faithless and perverse generation” These and the following words may be considered as spoken:

1. To the disciples, because of their unbelief, Matthew 17:20.

2. To the father of the possessed, who should have brought his son to Christ.

3. To the whole multitude, who were slow of heart to believe in Him as the Messiah, notwithstanding the miracles which He wrought.

Just as a faithless perversion has run me out of the house in which God appointed me …

And Jesus rebuked the devil for having afflicted the child, and commanded him to come out of the boy. “Mark 9:25” has recorded the words which Jesus used. Words implying reproof and command: “Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee come out of him, and enter no more into him.”

And the spirit cried, and with a mighty convulsion came out, leaving the child apparently dead. Jesus lifted him up by the hand and gave the child to his father.

There is a spirit or many spirits that have overrun my home and forced me out. I have prayed rebuke and for angels to swarm the home and cleanse it for my return. I do not know when, how or if it will happen. I only know it needs to. Grace needs me, my dog needs me, the others need me, my life there needs me, and I need them. I need my sanctuary and altar back. I need this redemption and to restore the home … to save their souls. As well as mine.

Universal Vindication

“And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”

1 Peter 3:13-14

And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?. This question is meant to imply, that in general, they need not expect evil if they lead an upright and benevolent life. Which may sound contradictory, but this is more likely a reference to the time after our lives here …

The idea is, that God would in general protect them, even thru harsh times, though the next verse shows that the apostle did not mean to teach that there would be absolute security, for it is implied there that they might be called to suffer for righteousness sake …

While it is true that the Savior was persecuted by wicked people, though His life was wholly spent in doing good; while it is true that the apostles were put to death, though following Jesus’ example, and while it is true that good people have often suffered persecution, though laboring only to do good, still it is true as a general rule that a life of integrity and benevolence conduces us to safety, even in a wicked world.

People who are upright and pure, who live to do good to others who are characteristically benevolent and who are imitators of God are those who usually pass life in most tranquility and security, and are often safe when nothing else would give security but confidence in their integrity.

Though in many cases a particular person may carry a certain burden for souls, and while seeing the tragic circumstances surrounding some people’s lives, the person becomes empathic … even after suffering persecution at their hands.

A man of a holy and pure life may, under the protection of God, rely on that character to carry him safely through the world and to bring him at last to an honored place. Or should he be calumniated or mistreated when living, and his sun set under a cloud, still his name will be vindicated, and justice will ultimately be done to him when he is dead. Simply meaning that vengeance will be God’s …

The world ultimately judges right respecting character, and renders “honor to whom honor is due.” Compare Psalm 37:3-6. I would be bold in saying that the universe (under God’s control) will set things right …

We Love To Hate

Zechariah 7:8-14 Lies 2

Then the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, saying, “Thus says the Lord of hosts:
‘Execute true justice,
Show mercy and compassion
Everyone to his brother.
Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless,
The alien or the poor.
Let none of you plan evil in his heart
Against his brother.’
“But they refused to heed, shrugged their shoulders, and stopped their ears so that they could not hear. Yes, they made their hearts like flint, refusing to hear the law and the words which the Lord of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Thus great wrath came from the Lord of hosts. Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen,” says the Lord of hosts.“But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations which they had not known. Thus the land became desolate after them, so that no one passed through or returned; for they made the pleasant land desolate.”
Zechariah 7:8-14
Other countries do not hate us for our freedom. What freedom you think exists is under completely false pretenses and ideals. They hate us because we have turned our backs on God …
They are against us for the horrors we allow our governments and military forces to reign down on them. They fight us not because they are terrorists, but because we desolate their lands for resources, oil, drugs and our own personal greed.
We support wars on their lands based entirely on lies or attacks carried out by our own government. Its called “rumors of war” for a reason. No war in the last 200 years of this country has ever been based in truth …
They do not hate us for our freedom. They are depicted as enemies to keep us hating the wrong people. All the while we are distracted by government sanctioned, highly trained attacks on our own people as they put the blame on yet another false enemy, a fall guy blasted all over the news.
We are intoxicated with fake politics and sports drama, dumbed down by t.v., school, vaccinations and pills. We allow ourselves to be bullied and pushed around by a protection racket legal system.
And when it all gets to be too much, instead of falling to our knees or actually fighting back, we turn to drinking, drug addictions or video games!
Now of course it is in season for millions of lost souls to celebrate and observe pagan traditions all in the name of God, who told us NOT to do such things!!!
You want to know why so many people are turning to witchcraft and other such lifestyles? They were taught BY THE CHURCH that its okay!

Blessing & Actions (Video)

Blessings And Actions

“For You, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, have revealed this to Your servant, saying, ‘I will build you a house.’ Therefore Your servant has found it in his heart to pray this prayer to You. “And now, O Lord GOD, You are God, and Your words are true, and You have promised this goodness to Your servant. Now therefore, let it please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue before You forever; for You, O Lord GOD, have spoken it, and with Your blessing let the house of Your servant be blessed forever.”

2 Samuel 7:27-29

David’s prayer is full of words of devout affection toward God. He had low thoughts of his own merits.

All we have must be looked upon as Divine gifts. David speaks very highly and honorably of the Lord’s favors to him. Considering what the character and condition of man is, we may be amazed that God should deal with us as He does.

Ephesians 3:20 states “The promise of Christ includes all; if the Lord God be ours, what more can we ask, or think of?”

He knows us better than we know ourselves; therefore let us be satisfied with what God has done for us. What more can we say for ourselves in our prayers than God has said for us in His promises?

David attributes all to the free grace of God. Both the great things He had done for him and the great things God had made known to him. All was for His word’s sake, that is, for the sake of Christ the eternal Word.

Prayer which is from the tongue only will not please God; it must be found in the heart, lifted up and poured out before God. Actions as well as words must be taken into account. What good are words if nothing is put into practice?

When Jesus was being corraled and beaten on the way to the hill, a man stepped in to help him despite the gaurds and the many haters. Today we stand by and watch and record and never interfere as people are brutalized by the police or random street thugs.

I love when someone we name a hero says “I just did what anyone else would do” … Wrong! He saved a life from a burning building or an oncoming car while 50 other people just stood around and watched

Another thing people need to understand is that “turn the other cheek” does NOT mean allow yourselves or someone else to be bullied, mistreated or worse. What it does mean is ignoring discord, rumors, malice in the church … drama on Facebook! Calling the law over civil matters usually only accelerates a situation and makes things worse …

Some will say that things such as proper baptism is not necessary because they will claim it makes Christianity a deed based religion. People with minds like that need a good swift kick of conviction from God for such ignorance. Jesus’ entire persona was deed based! He Himself was baptized. How dare you put yourself above that!

Bible says “if ye believe” Believing is an action. Just as Love is an action.

Then they say “well then we should all be crucified” … To be a true person of faith we will suffer thru persecution and trials. Not necessarily killed for it, but it can happen. One thing I have learned the hard way is that people don’t need to know what you believe in. the devil knows, and he will set them against you to hurt you.

Just as deeds alone will not get you into Heaven …

With God, saying and doing are not two different things as they often are with men; God will do as He has said. The promises of God are not made to us by name, as to David, but they belong to all who believe in Jesus Christ and plead them in His name.

We are not necessarily entitled to anything God gives us. What we are entitled to is using our gifts and blessings for His Kingdom. I know that can be difficult in a society of people who have lost all perspective or who just stopped caring. So we must plant seeds. Sometimes all we can do is water them with prayer, but that is what God expects of us …
